Pastoral Life

The first proclamation of the Gospel is truly good news, capable of creating true "oases" of mercy in the midst of a wounded world. It is the Lord Jesus who sends us to bring this proclamation to everyone: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:19).

We want to deepen the gift of Mission and Prayer, which unites us with God and with our brothers and sisters. What we live together as a community offers us countless opportunities to contemplate the Church and humanity.

Grupo Pueblo Nuevo

We are a prayer community of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, born from the youth ministry of the El Peregrino Prayer Group, and for more than 20 years we have been sharing the experience of a personal encounter with the Risen Jesus!

We mature and grow together as brothers and sisters before the Mystery of Eucharistic Adoration at each of our community gatherings: singing, praying, praising and giving thanks to God the Father in His Son Jesus, amazed by the gifts of peace, joy and so many others that the Holy Spirit pours out!

We open our doors to welcome all who "hunger and thirst" to know the Living Christ and the promises of His Word, which heal, save and set free!

Each heart's experience is unique, real and unrepeatable, and it is open to each and every person, regardless of age, background or story. There are no requirements, just the "yes" of the heart!

We meet every Saturday afternoon from 6 p.m. at the Casa Laical, Pasaje Santa Catalina 80, of the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption (Catedral de Córdoba).

We are waiting for you! Jesus is waiting for you!

Grupo Juvenil La Cate

We are a youth group of the Archdiocese of Córdoba, founded 60 years ago in downtown Córdoba. Today the group brings together 500 young people aged 12 to 18, accompanied by a team of 65 coordinators responsible for their formation and for guiding them in faith.

We meet on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m.: young people from 1st to 3rd year of secondary school meet at Colegio San José, and those from 4th year of secondary school to 1st year of university meet at Colegio 25 de Mayo. We close the day all together with Mass at the Cathedral. We also have a group of university students called "Apostolado," who carry out apostolic work and missions. Throughout the year we hold winter camps in July and summer camps in January, along with many other activities of our own and in conjunction with the Archdiocese.

Registration for La Cate opens every March for anyone who wants to join.
